S:PACE is the student arm of Penn State’s Architectural Engineering (AE) program for PACE. The officers for S:PACE are from the undergraduate AE program and work to bring student enriching activities to the AE construction management program through out the year.

Job Placement

Additionally, S:PACE works with companies interested in hiring Penn State AE’s, predominately in the construction management (CM) option. This done through company seminars, which provide opportunities for industry practitioners to present their company to students, and through on campus recruiting sessions.

Intern Workshop

S:PACE coordinates the annual Intern Workshop which is open to and attended by AE students from all options (predominately 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students). The intern workshop is one of the benefits for PACE Partner Level annual contributing companies. The event focuses on an open forum on previous intern experiences, resume advise for students, interviewing skills, internship expectations and options among other information presented by our PACE Partner Level annual contributing companies.

Professional Development

S:PACE works to provide opportunities for students to develop professionally through seminars focusing on the AE industry and relevant topics, professional business practices, and internship opportunities.
